Mapleton Bowls Club has one quality Tifdwarf grass green.
We wish to acknowledge the grant received from the Queenland Government (“COVID Safe Active Clubs Kickstart” program) for some of the club’s recurrent costs. This $2000 funding is much appreciated after suffering income losses under the Australia-wide COVID-19 restrictions.
The Club is unique as it plays an important role in our community being much more than a bowls club. Many groups meet regularly here. If you are newly arrived on the Blackall Range or you wish to visit our lovely part of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, Mapleton Bowls Club will warmly welcome you.
We offer a country style atmosphere, wonderful views to the Coast, a relaxed and friendly welcome and for bowlers, we have a grass turf green. Our club has social bowls on Tuesday and Saturday at 1pm while the bar is open Monday – Saturday from 4-6pm except Thursdays.
To become a member of the Club an application form is available and please submit to the Secretary.
Coaching every Friday between 2 pm until 4 pm weather permitting. Free bowls supplied. Must have flat shoes or thongs. Any age junior to seniors. Newly qualified coach, Debbie Sawtell will be available.
Mapleton Bowls Club is a great venue for businesses and organisations to plan a Corporate Day, either a bowls competition or a ‘come and try’ day out. There is a great variety of accommodation in easy reach of the club. We enjoy a reputation as one of the most friendly and attractive clubs in the Sunshine Coast area.
Friday Dinners are served on alternate Fridays from 6.00pm at reasonable prices. Visitors are welcome. Our full kitchen can accommodate special events for celebrations, with a dining area for up to 80 people.
Dinner nights for 2021 – now operating – check the calendar for dates
