Unlike city gyms, the Range Community Gym and Fitness Centre at Mapleton has a different philosophy. We embrace more than just fitness.

Our gym caters for all age groups and fitness levels. Programs are tailored to suit individual needs including rehabilitation after injury, general fitness improvement, strength training, and those suffering chronic health issues.

We like to inspire and support the building of healthy bodies and active lifestyles where members can participate in a range of physical and social pursuits to develop strength, mobility and independence.

The gym was established in 2001 and continues to run successfully through the efforts of hardworking volunteers. Located at the back of the Mapleton Bowls Club, the Range Community Gym and Fitness Centre offers a picturesque setting overlooking the Mapleton Lilyponds. The gym promotes opportunity to train outdoors with fresh mountain air in a relaxing and peaceful environment.

The gym employs two qualified fitness instructors who are ready to help you rewrite your fitness story in a caring, supportive and fun environment.
